Friends

When we first got to Utah we stayed with some friends. We stayed with the Kollers first and then the Borgs. The Kollers had a big BBQ planned with all of our old friends from the village( that is where we lived up in SLC). It was so much fun to see everyone again. We also went to the Gateway to let the kids run around in the water, very fun.

The Borg's have a great play room, Max stayed in there the whole time, he just loved it! We went to Liberty Park and played around in the water, the kids loved it. The kids also had a big sleepover in the basement.

We love our GG

When we were up in Utah we visited with GG in the hospital. The kids just love her so much and were so sweet with her while we were there. GG is an amazing woman, she is so sweet and has a big heart and she just adores the kids. We love our GG.

Happy July 4th!

We spent the 4th with Boompa and Nana and we had a blast! Nana and I and the kids went to go see Wall-E, very cute movie. Curt got sick so he took it easy that day. Boompa bought lots of fireworks so we had our own show, the kids thought that was pretty cool! Happy 4th of July!

Grandpa and Grammy's cabin

Grandpa and Grammy's Cabin

For the family reunion this year we all met up at the cabin on Priest Lake. It is so beautiful up there, I guess we were pretty close to the Canada border. We did so many fun things like going on hikes, canoeing, swimming, boating, playing horse shoes, sitting around the camp fire telling spooky stories, etc. The kids got these cool necklaces from their grandparents and every time you saw an animal, name a tree, or did anything outdoors you got a bead to add on it. They thought they were at camp, they loved it! Luke loves to canoe, he really didn't want to get off of it, i guess we will have to look around for one now!

Silverwood

Silverwood was a blast! It is an amusement park up in Northern Idaho, close to the cabin. The kids had so much fun, Max even got to go on the big rollercoaster! He loved it, not scared at all! We all went on this tube ride and we all got pretty soaked but it was a blast.

The many faces of Max

Max just loves the camera, he always wants me to take pictures of him. Here are a few pics of him being silly.

Hair is gone!

About2 years ago Madi decided that she wanted to grow her hair out and donate it to Locks of love. Well, as you can see, it was finally long enough to cut it all off! She had 10 inches of hair to help make wigs for children who have lost their own hair due to cancer treatments. What a big decision to make all on her own, we are so proud of her for having such a big heart! She loves her new short hair but she also wants to donate it again, so off we go to growing it out again!
